SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels Organizes Free Health Camp in Dhusmar, Katihar

Katihar, August 19: Under the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels project, operated by the SBI Foundation in collaboration with the TRY organization, a free health camp was successfully organized in Dhusmar village of Katihar district. The initiative aimed to provide accessible and quality healthcare services to people living in rural areas, especially those from economically weaker sections of society.

During the camp, nearly 209 beneficiaries from the local community received free medical check-ups. A team of healthcare professionals examined patients and provided consultations for various health-related concerns. Free medicines were also distributed to patients according to their medical requirements, ensuring that they received proper treatment without any financial burden.

The SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels project has been playing an important role in delivering healthcare services to remote and underserved communities. Through this initiative, people who often face difficulties in accessing hospitals and healthcare facilities are able to receive medical assistance within their own villages.

Healthcare remains one of the biggest challenges in many rural areas, where a lack of medical infrastructure and financial limitations prevent people from receiving timely treatment. The mobile healthcare initiative launched by the SBI Foundation is helping bridge this gap by bringing essential medical services directly to the people who need them the most.

Local residents who attended the camp expressed their gratitude for the initiative and appreciated the efforts made by the SBI Foundation and the TRY organization. Several community members highlighted the positive impact of such programs and emphasized the need for more health camps in the future to ensure regular healthcare services for rural populations.

The camp also provided an opportunity to spread awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups, early diagnosis, and preventive healthcare. Medical experts encouraged people to adopt healthy lifestyles and seek timely treatment to prevent serious illnesses.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the TRY organization reaffirmed their commitment to continuing similar healthcare initiatives in different parts of the district. They stated that their primary objective is to ensure that quality healthcare services reach every section of society, particularly vulnerable and underprivileged communities.

Among those present at the event were TRY Project Manager Mr. Saurabh Singh, Mr. Mohammad Kausar Alam, other officials of the organization, and several respected local citizens.
